Chiefs Confirm Alleged Abuse Allegations Involving Wide Receiver the Athlete

The Kansas City Chiefs released a comment Wednesday night confirming they are aware of domestic violence allegations circulated in social media posts by a ex-partner of wide receiver the athlete and were in contact with the league office.

The organization did not mention the player specifically in their statement and said they would have “nothing more to add at this time”.

The woman, who likewise did not name Rice by name, posted a set of images on social media that seemed to depict indicators of bodily harm.
